Ingredient Training Workshops - Panama
Read MoreChitre City, PanamaUSDEC hosted in-country workshops in Chitre City, Panama, on November 19 and 20 to train participants on how and why to use U.S. dairy ingredients to manufacture native Panamanian cheese/dairy products. The workshops featured classroom and hands-on sessions. Participants primarily included small-to-medium-sized Panamanian native cheese/dairy processors.

USDEC Member Mission to MENA Region

Representatives from 16 USDEC member companies attended the U.S. Dairy Supplier Mission to the region, holding 721 individual one-on-one meetings over the course of four days of meetings. Gulfood Manufacturing Trade Show

Ingredient Training Workshop - Colombia
Read MoreIpiales, ColombiaUSDEC's Colombian dairy ingredients workshop series continued last week in Ipiales with the training session, "Applications of Powdered Ingredients to Optimize Dairy Product Formulations." Professor John Jairo Ortiz from the Universidad de Antioquia led the training, which focused on the benefits of using U.S. nonfat dry milk and MPC in yogurt and campesino cheese (a lightly pressed, fresh, salty cheese often used as a topping).
